StatementCheap

Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to convert their statements with StatementCheap, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, voice control or zoom.

Our target

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across the site: the converter, your files, sign-in, account pages, the free tools and our guides.

What we do

  • Every page and control works with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
  • Conversion progress and results are announced to screen readers, and rows that don't add up are marked in words, not only in color.
  • Pages reflow on screens as narrow as 320 pixels and can be zoomed to 200% without losing content.
  • Text and form fields meet the WCAG contrast ratios.
  • We test with automated checks (axe-core) and by hand with a keyboard and a screen reader whenever we change the interface.

Known limits

  • The sign-in form sometimes shows a security check that is run by a third party. If it stops you from signing in, write to us and we'll help.
  • The on-screen preview shows up to 300 transactions per statement. The downloaded file always has all of them.
  • We can't change the accessibility of the files your bank gives you. We convert scanned statements too, but check the rows we flag.
