How to download your TSB statement as a PDF

In the TSB app, tap the profile icon, then "Inbox", find the statement and tap the download icon. In Internet Banking, click "Your Inbox" at the top right, open the statement and save or download it as a PDF. Paperless statements for current accounts, savings and credit cards go to this Digital Inbox. To switch, use "Paperless settings" in the app menu or "Go Paperless" in Internet Banking.

Can TSB export Excel or CSV directly?

TSB's Business Internet Banking lets you print a statement or download it into a financial software package, and shows transactions for at least the last 13 months. TSB's business guide notes that ordering statements through Internet Banking is charged, while printing them yourself is free and gives a print-friendly format rather than formal statement form. In our check, TSB's personal help pages describe statements only as PDFs in the Digital Inbox. When a lender or accountant wants the formal statement, use the PDF from the Digital Inbox.

Tips for converting TSB statements

TSB keeps documents in your Digital Inbox for as long as you have the account, so save the statements you need before closing it. Afterwards you can only see them if you still have another open TSB account. TSB joined Santander on 30 April 2026, and TSB says online banking and the app work as before for now.

What you get

  • Excel with real dates and numbers you can sort, filter and total, plus a summary sheet.
  • QuickBooks: a .qbo Web Connect file or the 3-column CSV for bank uploads. See PDF to QBO.
  • Xero CSV, OFX/QFX for Quicken and other tools, or plain CSV.
  • A reconciliation check: opening balance + money in − money out = closing balance.

Converting a lot of statements every month? Plans start at $9/month for 500 pages.

FAQ

Does TSB charge for a copy statement?
TSB's Banking Charges Guide says your regular current account statement is free, but a duplicate, meaning a copy of a statement you've already been given on paper or electronically, costs £5 for each request. TSB says duplicate savings statements are charged too.
Can I get statements for a closed TSB account?
Save statements before closing: TSB says you can only see a closed account's documents online if you have another open TSB account. Otherwise TSB provides free transaction history covering up to five years before the closure, in paper form, by post or in branch, within ten working days of confirming your identity.
Can I convert TSB statements to Excel?
Yes. Upload the PDF statement from TSB and download an Excel, CSV, QBO, Xero or OFX file. The first 5 pages every day are free.
Does it work with TSB credit card and business statements?
Yes. Checking, savings, business and credit card statements all work. The AI reads the layout, so it doesn't depend on a template.
How do I know the conversion is right?
Each result is checked against the statement: opening balance plus money in minus money out must equal the closing balance, and running balances are checked row by row.
Are my statements stored?
No. Files are processed in memory and the rows go straight back to your browser. We keep only metadata like the page count for billing.
