How to download your Wise statement as a PDF
On the Wise website or app, open the currency or jar, select the three dots in the top-right corner, choose "Statements and reports" and pick the type of document. Or click your initials, choose "Statements and reports", then "Statements" and "Create a statement" to pick the currencies or jars, the period, the language and PDF as the format. You'll need to enter your Wise password to confirm the download.
Can Wise export Excel or CSV directly?
On the website you can choose PDF, XLSX (Excel), CSV, MT940, QIF or CAMT.053 (version 10 only) for a statement; the app offers PDF, CSV and XLSX. Separately, the "Transactions" page on the website lets you filter and "Export" your current view as CSV or PDF for up to 365 days; Wise says this isn't available in the app. Wise Business accounts connected to Xero sync automatically and can backfill up to one year; for older periods Wise says to upload a PDF or CSV statement for every currency. Business accounts can also download an audit report showing the amount in each currency on a chosen date.
What a Wise statement looks like
Statements are created per currency or jar, for the period and language you choose. Wise says a statement shows all transactions, including any hidden activities. When you create an accounting statement you can tick a box to have fees shown separately. To make the PDF official, tick "Stamp and sign this document" at the bottom of the statements screen; Wise has to verify your address first if it hasn't already. A separate "Statement of fees" summarises the fees you paid in a year, by currency, but isn't available to US-based customers.
Tips for converting Wise statements
Each statement covers at most 365 days, so download one per year for longer periods. You can select several currencies and jars at once and get a ZIP file; unzip it and upload each statement on its own. Statements only include transactions made through your Wise currency accounts, not ones paid with an external payment method.
