How to download your Chime statement as a PDF

In the Chime app, tap "Profile", then "Documents", then "Account statements", choose the account and month, and tap the export icon at the top right to save the PDF. On the web, log in and go to Profile > Documents > Account Statements.

What a Chime statement looks like

Chime's help says one statement may include separate sections for each of your accounts, headed "Checking Account Statement", "Savings Account Statement", "Credit Builder Secured Account Billing Statement" or "Chime Card Secured Account Billing Statement". Each section shows the ending balance for that account only, and a section can show a $0 ending balance even when money is available, so add up the relevant sections for your total. Checking and Savings statements are generated monthly, while Credit Builder statements follow its billing cycle. On Credit Builder and Chime Card statements, disputed charges are listed by transaction date at the bottom, and the summary section reflects adjustments made during the investigation.

Tips for converting Chime statements

Chime doesn't send paper statements, so download PDFs before you need them, for example for a loan or rental application. Each monthly statement converts on its own with a balance check.

Can I get a Chime statement for part of a month?
No. Chime's help says it can't provide a statement shorter than one month, and the only statements it provides are the ones in the app. MyPay statements always cover a full calendar month and aren't available for a custom date range or before the period ends.
Can I get Chime statements after closing my account?
Chime says that once an account is closed you can no longer access it, and recommends downloading statements and tax documents from "Profile", then "Documents", before closing. If you can't get into the app or chime.com, Chime's help says to call (844) 244-6363 to get copies of your statements.
Can Chime give me a letter to verify my account?
For asset or account verification documents, Chime's help says to call (844) 244-6363. A landlord, lender or other third party can't request them directly. The account holder calls, and Chime provides a standard asset verification form that the account holder can choose to share.
Can I convert Chime statements to Excel?
Yes. Upload the PDF statement from Chime and download an Excel, CSV, QBO, Xero or OFX file. The first 5 pages every day are free.
Does it work with Chime credit card and business statements?
Yes. Checking, savings, business and credit card statements all work. The AI reads the layout, so it doesn't depend on a template.
How do I know the conversion is right?
Each result is checked against the statement: opening balance plus money in minus money out must equal the closing balance, and running balances are checked row by row.
Are my statements stored?
No. Files are processed in memory and the rows go straight back to your browser. We keep only metadata like the page count for billing.
