How to download your Navy Federal Credit Union statement as a PDF

In Navy Federal online banking, choose "Statements" from the navigation menu. In the mobile app, tap "More", then "Account and Tax Statements". To switch off paper statements, enroll through "Paperless Delivery Preferences".

What a Navy Federal Credit Union statement looks like

Navy Federal's checking and savings statement is a combined statement. Its e-statement disclosure says the monthly combined statement gives transaction history for your primary savings, checking, Money Market Savings, consumer loan and Checking Line of Credit accounts, as applicable, so one PDF can cover several accounts. Credit cards and loans, and certificates and IRAs, are separate choices in the statements drop-down in digital banking. When you convert a combined statement, check which account each transaction belongs to before you reconcile.

Tips for converting Navy Federal Credit Union statements

Navy Federal shows up to 36 months of statements online. Anything older has to be requested from the credit union, so download what you need while it's still available.

What you get

  • Excel with real dates and numbers you can sort, filter and total, plus a summary sheet.
  • QuickBooks: a .qbo Web Connect file or the 3-column CSV for bank uploads. See PDF to QBO.
  • Xero CSV, OFX/QFX for Quicken and other tools, or plain CSV.
  • A reconciliation check: opening balance + money in − money out = closing balance.

Converting a lot of statements every month? Plans start at $9/month for 500 pages.

FAQ

Can I get Navy Federal statements older than 36 months?
Not online. Navy Federal keeps up to 36 months of statements in digital banking. Its e-statement disclosures say you can request copies, including statements older than 36 months, through Online Banking or by calling 1-888-842-6328. The disclosures list a fee per statement copy, and extra fees may apply for expedited delivery.
Why can't a joint owner see Navy Federal statements online?
Navy Federal's online banking agreement says a joint owner who wants to see account statements must be set up by the primary owner as a Trusted User with permission to access statements. The primary owner manages this in online banking by clicking their name at the top right and choosing "Manage Trusted Users".
Why did I get a yearly Navy Federal statement instead of a monthly one?
Navy Federal sends a statement monthly unless your savings or checking account has had no transactions within 365 days. When there's been no activity in that time, its account disclosures say Navy Federal may provide the statement once a year instead.
Can I convert Navy Federal Credit Union statements to Excel?
Yes. Upload the PDF statement from Navy Federal Credit Union and download an Excel, CSV, QBO, Xero or OFX file. The first 5 pages every day are free.
Does it work with Navy Federal Credit Union credit card and business statements?
Yes. Checking, savings, business and credit card statements all work. The AI reads the layout, so it doesn't depend on a template.
How do I know the conversion is right?
Each result is checked against the statement: opening balance plus money in minus money out must equal the closing balance, and running balances are checked row by row.
Are my statements stored?
No. Files are processed in memory and the rows go straight back to your browser. We keep only metadata like the page count for billing.
