How to download your USAA statement as a PDF
Log on to usaa.com or the USAA app and open the statements area for your bank account. USAA's support pages describe a "View statements" option to review, download or print USAA Bank statements. Choose the account and statement period, then download the PDF.
What a USAA statement looks like
USAA's deposit agreement says each statement shows the dates it covers and gives the item number, dollar amount and posting date for each transaction. A check that a payee converts to an electronic payment, such as a utility bill, shows as an electronic debit rather than a check. USAA's card agreement says credit card statements show the "Previous Balance", "New Balance", "Minimum Payment Due" and "Payment Due Date", along with the "Balance Subject to Interest Rate" and "Total Interest For This Period", and there's an "Important Account Information" section. The Previous Balance and New Balance are the figures the converter checks the transactions against.
Tips for converting USAA statements
USAA checking, savings and credit card accounts each have their own statements. Download one PDF per account per month so every statement gets its own balance check.
