How to download your Mercury statement as a PDF
In Mercury on the web, click your organization name at the top left, choose "Documents & Data", pick the account and the months you want, and click "Download". You can also open an account and choose "View Statements".
Can Mercury export Excel or CSV directly?
Mercury's web dashboard has several exports besides the PDF. On the Transactions page, click "Export all", or apply filters and click "Export filtered", then choose .csv or .xlsx. In "Documents & Data", the "Statements" tab offers a pre-formatted "QuickBooks CSV" or "NetSuite CSV" for each monthly statement, under the vertical dots at the end of each row. The Accounting page exports transactions with their categories as CSV, and IO card transactions download as CSV too. Mercury also syncs directly with QuickBooks Online, Xero and NetSuite. In our check, Mercury's help didn't describe QBO, QFX or OFX downloads, so convert the statement PDF if your software needs one of those.
What a Mercury statement looks like
Mercury generates a monthly statement for each account between the 1st and 3rd of the month. Its help says statements include the account and routing numbers for the selected account and all transaction activity in the stated date range, and Mercury's FAQ says the partner bank is listed on your statements. IO card statements are separate. Each covers one billing period, with an overview of credit limit, total spending and cashback, the posted transactions and payments, and the statement balance at the end date. Charges show as positive amounts and payments and refunds as negative, the opposite of the Transactions page. Autopay appears as a scheduled payment on the cover page, not in the transaction list.
Tips for converting Mercury statements
Monthly statements are PDFs. For part of the current month, Mercury can generate a custom statement; it converts the same way, and the balance check runs if the statement shows opening and closing balances.
